Further Appeal Delay For Cleghorn

A New Zealander jailed in Cambodia on sex charges has been dealt another blow in his bid for an appeal.

Graham Cleghorn, 60, was convicted of raping five of his workers, but his latest appeal against his conviction has been adjourned.

He was due to have the appeal heard yesterday, but Cambodian authorities did not transfer him from prison to court.

Cleghorn's New Zealand-based lawyer, Greg King, says it is another delay and they are at the mercy of the Cambodian justice system.

He says Cleghorn just wants to get the appeal heard, but that now won't happen until January 31.
